local market

Vine-ripened tomatoes and squash are only two of the many kinds of produce to be found at the OSU-OKC Farmers' Market in Oklahoma City. Over the past few weeks, I've found corn on the cob, okra, cucumbers, cantaloupe, new potatoes, spinach, onions, garlic, shallots, and watermelon - and that's just the tip of the iceberg. You can also find local honey, and lots of locally made products like breads, baked goods, pecans, candies, fudge, hand-woven baskets, handmade clothing, bags, jewelry, dairy products and beautiful plants and flowers (like the zinnias posted below).

  1. Now that's what I like! Tomatoes that have different shapes and sizes. I just have those that look like they come out of a factory! Sounds like I would have a ball there!
